refugee or a refugee family in a house or property of your own. Your
wish is to reduce the nembers of asylum seekers held in detention centres
and to accommodate the growing numbers of homeless asylum seekers in the
community.

Writing to people in detention:
Many people around Australia are now writing letters
to people in detention centres.
The comfort and encouragement this gives is enormous. It is one of the simplest and most
effective ways you can help refugees.
