¡ì         You can send phone cards to detainees: it helps them make contact with friends out in the real world.  Our friend in Port Hedland tells us that the "INSER" card (unsure of spelling) is no good at all.  They get only a few minutes (o'seas) per card.  He's become a bit of an expert and says that Telstra "Good day Saturday" is great, along with something called an 'Apple Card') and that Optus is OK too.  If any of you are sending phone cards - simply avoid the 'Inser'  card as it's a waste of time.
